George is currently playing series regular Seb Spiller in River City (BBC Scotland).

George has worked extensively in Scottish theatre over the last thirty-six years, starting out with Wildcat, appearing in many shows including Border Warfare, John Brown’s Body, Sharks and The The Celtic Story. 

Credits include: STIFF! and The Man of La Mancha (Royal Lyceum), Sunshine On Leith, Piaf and Oor Wullie (Dundee Rep), Parahandy (Eden Court), Wolves in The Walls (National Theatre of Scotland), Lanark, Cyrano De Bergerac (Citizens Theatre), The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart (National Theatre of Scotland). He has performed in many of Òran Mór's lunchtime theatre productions and has also appeared in many pantomimes throughout Scotland.

TV credits include: River City, Lip Service, Still Game, Gary: Tank Commander, Rab C Nesbitt, Legit, Scot Squad, Dog Squad, Taggart. George was also a regular in the Gaelic soap, Machair.
